How It Works
We talk or email to find out what it is you want. If you have a reference track you send it to me. This is a song you like which gives me an idea of the vibe you’re after or the style you want.

It might be that you just want me to mix your stems.
​
Or it might be that you have a voice memo with a melody and you need a backing track for it.
Whatever you have in mind, we will communicate and I’ll find out as much as I can about what it is you’re after.
Price Structure
To keep things fair and transparent, I price my mixing and mastering work based on five tiers.
The prices reflect how long I expect to spend on your music.
This helps you choose the right option for your song’s size and complexity and how much work is involved.
The final tier I have left open - some jobs fall between the gaps of these tiers and we can arrange a price between us.
I can also guide you as to how to get your music sent to me.

Tier 1: Simple Mix – for songs with up to 10 stems, where the structure has been worked out, where you're playing the supporting music - this tier covers the basics of mixing & mastering: light EQ, compression, panning, reverb where necessary, levelling, up to 2 revisions within 30 days of delivery. It’s ideal for simpler arrangements or cleaned-up demos. The price for this tier is £150.

Tier 2: Standard Mix – for songs as above but with a more complex arrangement and from 13 to 30 stems - this tier includes a full mix and master with light effects, stereo placement, up to 2 revisions within 30 days of delivery. It suits most home-recorded songs with a standard arrangement. The price for this tier is £230.
Tier 3: Complex Mix – for more layered songs with 31 to 50 stems, this tier involves detailed mixing, vocal comping, effects, automation, up to 2 revisions within 30 days of delivery. It’s perfect for fuller productions and the price for this tier is £330.

Tier 4: Song From Scratch - for a song where all I have is your voice on a recording maybe on a voice memo. It might be that you have to record your voice again once I've worked out the structure of the song and made a backing track for you. We discuss what you have in mind via zoom or over the phone, I will work out the key and the chords for your song, I create and record the accompanying arrangement (drums/percussion/bass/keys etc), I mix the instruments together including your melody whether that's with your voice or another instrument, I master the finished version so it sounds amazing! Maximum number of stems is 50, up to 2 revisions within 30 days of delivery. The price for this Song From Scratch is £430.

Tier 5: Something else - a combo of the above - price to be arranged between us
Vocals
Each tier above includes individual note pitch correction if necessary, generally tidying of the vocals, and adding reverb to make it sparkle.
If you’ve recorded multiple takes, I’ll select and blend the best lines into one strong performance.
Pricing of each tier covers up to 5 takes. I treat these as 5 separate stems.
For 6-10 vocal takes I add £20 to the tiered price. If you have more than 10 takes, you'll need to whittle these down yourself!!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are stems in music?
A: Every song is built from layers - like vocals, guitar, piano, and drums. Each of these layers is called a stem (basically an individual audio track). A simple acoustic song might have just a few stems, while a fuller production could have 30 or more.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: For UK clients, I accept bank transfers. For clients outside the UK, PayPal is usually the easiest and most secure option.

Q: Do you require payment upfront?
A: Yes, I ask for 50% upfront before starting your project, with the remaining 50% due on delivery before I send you the final high-resolution files.

Q: Are there any fees for international payments?
A: PayPal may charge a small fee for currency conversion or international transfers. It’s usually a small percentage of the payment, so please keep that in mind when budgeting.

Q: Can I work with you if I’m outside the UK?
A: Yes! I work with clients around the world. We communicate via email and Zoom. Feel free to reach out and we can discuss your project and payment options.
