Musical Compositions and Projects

I write and produce music across a range of styles, but each piece seems to have a shared sound.

Working mainly in Logic Pro, I combine vocals, flute, saxophone, and percussion with MIDI textures to shape each track.

Below are examples from my YouTube channel, giving a glimpse into the different directions my music takes—from sync-friendly tracks to meditative soundscapes and big band charts.

One exciting aspect of my work is composing music specifically aimed at sync opportunities. These pieces are crafted to fit film, TV, or commercial needs, and many are represented by various libraries and agencies in the UK and the US. This is 'Feel The Magic', a collaboration with the brilliant keyboard player, Tom Phelan.

I also enjoy arranging favourite, well-known songs, such as “For No-One” by Lennon/McCartney, where I combine my vocals, flute, and MIDI instruments to create a fresh, personal interpretation.

My original songs often explore themes close to my heart—friendship, self-expression, the power of love, staying true to yourself, and imagining your best life. I’m drawn to the magic and wonder of the world, and my music aims to reflect that sense of possibility and connection. These pieces are where I let my ideas unfold most freely, often blending voice, flute, saxophone, and layered textures to create something personal and uplifting.

Another passion is composing music for meditation and stretching, where I layer my voice with soothing synthesized pads and sometimes natural bird sounds to create calming soundscapes. I’ve also recorded pure nature sounds—capturing the dawn chorus of birds around our local woods and garden during early mornings.

In the big band arena, I write charts for the Sussex Jazz Orchestra, a thrilling experience that allows me to hear my compositions played live as well as being part of the performance on  flute and alto sax.

Lastly, some of my pieces have made their way into the weekly ballet classes I attend. It’s a really nice feeling to be dancing to something I’ve written, alongside others in the room.

I’m currently working on my third album, gathering pieces written over the past few years as well as adding some new material.  Stay tuned for more!

If you'd like to collaborate on something or you'd like to use any of my music, do get in touch! I'd love to hear from you.
